For this post, I will be analysing my TikTok account data to understand how to improve and get more traffic. Data for the last 39 days. First of all, there are huge percentage jumps because I used an old account. 1 million percentage increase for video views. LOL.

TikTok video views.

So on 6 Jan, there was a spike, because I think it was in between 2 of my most viewed videos: screen time and MOE teachers. These are relevant to the Singapore context, and I got quite a few comments. Then, on 4 Dec, I initially received a few scam comments and messages, which occurred when I started using this TikTok account again, and the algorithm picked up on it. I'm now facing a slump in views, but I should probably choose another hot topic to discuss.

The spikes are on 4 Dec and 28 Dec. No surprise with 4 Dec, but on 28 Dec, I had my first most-viewed videos, where I just ranted about my job. It broke the ice for me because prior to that, I had just been posting CTA posts for Etsy; since then, I have learned to post more in my niche with content that is useful and relevant.

| TikTok likes. |
Moving on to likes. The 2 spikes are on 4 Dec and 6 Jan, 6 Jan being the period where I posted the MOE teachers' video. You can see an initial spike, then it flattened, and it increased when I posted the rant videos, and it is flattening now.

TikTok comments.

Interesting correlation, 4 Dec and 6 Jan as well. Comments and likes go hand-in-hand.

TikTok shares.

Shares might be affected by my own sharing, and I don't really care for this chart.

| TikTok gender and age. For the last 7 days. |
And I am attracting female viewers, with most of them between the ages of 25 to 34. 95.6% viewers are from Singapore. I find no need to post that chart.
So, in summary, I need to talk about hot topics that are useful and relevant for Singaporean females in their 20s, to get more comments and likes. Hahaha.
